These structured, smaller group (max 4 students in a classroom) 6-week programs, meet once a week on the same day and same time. Every session is 1 hour and 15 minutes, 6 sessions to complete the program.

Pixel Art Game Design
Recommended Min Age: 7
Learn how to design a pixel art game with simple to use Bloxels game engine. Your game concept, your story! You will create your own hero and villains, animate their idle, walk, jump and fall states, build game levels, environments and story interaction points. After 6 classes, you will take your program completion certification and link to your published game as a trophy. Class 1: Game Concept and Story Creating your own game story with brainstorming with classmates. Class 2: Character Design Design hero, villains and NPCs. Class 3: Animation Animate your characters, give them life. Class 4: Level Design Part 1 Building your levels that matches with your story. Class 5: Level Design Part 2 As you put your levels together, test and gather feedback from classmates. Class 6: Level Design Part 3 Time to tie everything together, polish your game and publish.
Board Game Design
Recommended Min Age: 7
Learn how to design a board game like a pro. After you will learn game genres and mechanics with play testing some amazing award winning games, you will create your own board game, ideation to implementing game mechanics, test play to design your own art. After 6 classes, you will take your program completion certification and board game of your design as a trophy. Class 1: Board Game Mechanics Learn game mechanics and test play some amazing games. Class 2: Board Game Genres Learn game genres, how to put them in categories and test play some games as you learn. Class 3: Solo, Multi Players, Co-op and Competitive Games Learn how different player count changes your game design. Class 4: Make your own Board Game Part 1 Let’s discuss game ideas and how to chose game mechanics for your own game. Class 5: Make your own Board Game Part 2 Design your art, put together your prototype. Class 6: Make your own Board Game Part 3 Finally, Testing and getting feedback. Then Iterations and final touches.
3D Art and Modeling
Recommended Min Age: 9
Time to learn 3D modeling, texturing and shading with Nomad Studio. Start with basic tools and brushes and controls in 3D space. Then push your limits with sculpting and anatomy. Create your own characters, learn how to add details and finish a masterpiece. Class 1: Navigating in 3D Space, Move, Rotate and Scale Starting with basics. Learn the essentials to have better control in 3D app. Class 2: Basic shapes and Scene Hierarchy Time to add new shapes into the scene, manage the hierarchy and combine objects and change the tapalogy. Class 3: Colors, Materials and Texturing Control the brush size and thickness and add details on your 3d models with texturing. Class 4: Sculpting Tools, Clay, Brush, Move and others. In this class, you will focus on sculpting your own models and pre-set anatomy pieces. Adding details is the key for good modeling. Class 5: Concept Art and Creating Your Own Character Draw different angle sketches and start creating your own character Class 6: Shading and Lights Time to put it all together. Add lights and effects to finalize your art.
Coding & Game Development
Recommended Min Age: 9
Design your own game from scratch. Learn the computer science behind a video game design with GameSalad game engine. Binaries, hex colors, position, rotation and scaling in level editor, level design, coding blocks, variables, conditions and more. After 6 classes, you will take your program completion certification and link to your published game as a trophy. Class 1: Game Engine Interface Introduction Learn game engine user interface, create your first scenes and actors. Class 2: Characters and Environment Elements Foundations of basic game design, including user input, actor movement and collisions. Class 3: Variables and Rules Concept of object-oriented programming. Adding victory/failure conditions and rules for your game. Class 4: Adding Sound and Scoring This class covers sound elements, scoring, and other complex logics. Class 5: Polishing Your Game with New Art It’s time to create your own art and replace it with default game elements. Class 6: Testing and Publishing Concepts of testing, user research, versioning and publishing a game.
Role Playing Games
Recommended Min Age: 8
Let's learn Dungeons & Dragons role playing games, character design, dice set, game play, rules with amazingly fun age appropriate stories. Not only you will have a good time with DnD world but also you will peak at the game master craft, how to balance a game, how to make the experience fun. After 6 classes, you will have your own game and take your own set of dice and completion certification home, as trophies. Class 1: Character Creation and Game Rules First you have to learn the rules. Character traits, Dnd dice, how combat and magic works. Class 2: Players and Game Master Simple Game Scene to play and learn how to game master behind the scenes. Class 3: Campaign and How to Start Time to Play a real game and learn how to players move from one story line to another. Class 4: Campaign Continues Deeper Into Story Using different elements, maps, miniatures, pictures to bring players to grand finale. Class 5: Final Act Let’s see if players are ready for the final boss. Class 6: Create Your Own Campaign Now it’s your turn to become a game master and lead your story.
